Thanks Darkchild! I kind of worked on this on and off for over a year. Feels good to have it out and to not have to worry about it anymore.

I am happy with how it came out, and people seem to like it. That said, I'm not sure it was worth making from a marketing/promotion standpoint.

I think it will continue to pay off though, since it gives serious fans a nice bit of background "lore" without being a tedious waste of time, or getting in the way of the game. I suspect people who like the game will be discovering the comic for a long time, so maybe it's too early to judge if it was worth making.

I remember catching the comic when you first posted it-- really enjoyed coming back and just going from start to finish. How did you like dipping into that particular medium? I was always interesting in dabbling but could never get over my penchant for ocd rendering which would kill things pretty quickly.

I'm about to upload a deluge of posts tonight on the blog-- i'll actually mention when i do-- but I had so much fun on this particular piece that I just wanted to post it straight away. While doing a post on making animatics and talking about the influence the Homeworld games had on me I took a few minutes to sketch the Sajuuk from HW2. Such fun to play with those concepts:

Hehe, thanks man. They are all a bit loose, but they got reduced to tiny-size for the actual game anyhow. I'm not sure if it's actually fun to play, but I think it's an interesting experiment.

Very nice. Awesome artwork. The game itself reminds me a lot of Talisman. Although to get that genuine Talisman feel you're going to need to code in the ability to flip the whole damn table.
