Not sure if I will be down for Fantastic Arcade this year -- I hear it's going to be in the boonies, and frankly, I have decided to become a hermit and hide in a cubby hole all year. Although I love super weird/cool indie games, I don't know if I have anything at all hip or whimsical in my blood, so I have kind of given up on trying to get attention from a lot of the indie press.

I kind of grew up in Dallas (which sucks balls, but left a mark) though and I don't think I can stay out of Austin forever :)

I should say that I'll definitely be spilling some unfinished ideas.txt about this game here -- you guys are pretty much exactly the type of people that I'm making this one for. right now I'd say it's kind of a different take on what Robert Yang is trying to do with Convo and his Shakespeare concept (which has sadly gone MIA on his blog). trying really hard to provide an experience where the plot itself really feels like it's the player's own thing. it's an adventure game at heart, but with a lot of the same design principles that you might find in something more simulator-y.

haha

yeah, I'm really unsure about how the Northdoor is going to work out for FA -- and yeah, it's in kind of a sketchy part of town... really missing the Highball.

thanks for backing, by the way!

I'll go back to it in a year or so... I wasn't good enough of an engineer to make it as simulation-y as I was aiming for. Good luck!
