It's been a fun 5 years fellow gausswerkers, some of us even managed to make a game or 2 during that time. Some highlights:

Animal Memory confirmed then put on hold forever
Matador being greenlit on Steam within just a few days when it was actually a challenge to get greenlit
Matador becoming Brigador
Pantry Boy
Yang's series of homoerotic games
Wolfire and Ninja's Overgrowth and Receiver
Darkchild signing over 90% of his posts during this time and also writing Contractor 1 & 2
The arrival and departure of Medium Difficulty
Many other things I can't remember right now
Over 200 pages of DONGER THREAD how weird is that

Here's to another 5 years []

Darkchild is not here, he has been possessed for the foreseeable future by the world's greatest mercenary.

Happy birthday Gausswerks, I feel this tune is appropriately cheerful.

I'm going to play this video in celebration when we finally release the game. Also weird to think that it's almost exactly 5 years from the start of GWF to when Gauss and I actually put something out.

quick little update, though it doesn't really affect you guys since you all already have copies of the game, but we're moving the early access release of the game up to the 16th! Brigador is coming out next week baby.

I would except for the fact that that'll probably be the most intensive period of support for the game. I will probably be working for almost the entire day of my birthday, as has been the case for the last 4 years [-]r

Me too this year, I've worked 14 out of the last 16 birthdays. Look forward to seeing Brigador purchasable! You got reviews and such lined up?
