I like the current build, Loyalist light mech with twin thermic lances for victory, promoting a fast, aggressive playstyle. I also like the simplified aiming lines.

Also, where are the rest of the units? Are they going to be unlocks?

The trailer is LIVE mofos

We'll be showing the game at PAX Prime at the end of this month in Seattle as part of the Indie Megabooth if anyone happens to be in town. Hopefully that goes well.

And yes, we are doing Early Access. The plan is for EA to be almost entirely for fleshing out content and polishing / reacting to input from a larger audience-- the game itself shouldn't change much during that period. Latest you can release as a non-AAA is end of October, and if you miss that window then you need to hold off until the end of February; anywhere between that is suicide. So for us the choices were to either sit on the game until March and keep working in isolation, ship as a full release in October being short on content and polish, or go EA. After a very long chat on the team side as well as getting advice from the PR guys who are helping us, we decided to go the EA route.

Hopefully all goes well, but you can never really tell with these kinds of things. We've really appreciated you folks being around for the ride. So yeah, the new trailer:

Thanks to Hugh nagging me, I booted up the staging version of Brigador for the first time in forever and it's changed a bunch in the past few months. There's all sorts of menu shit now on the front end, and the debug menu is amazeballs, along with a bunch of a few additions, such as a mini-tutorial (of all things!), and a reload icon thingy.

There is also a mech called the DRAGON WAGON which is fun to say.
